This is an art-directable simulation of blooming flowers. The main idea of this setup is to avoid instancing and allow each flower to interact with its neighbors.

The setup is full of procedural modeling, procedural animation and simulation techniques.

There are no sticky notes describing each step of the development, but it is well-organized so that any intermediate Houdini user would be able to read through the process.
